Maintenance Instructions
- Ensure the area is cleaned and ready for the machine installation. Check the location to ensure the machine is located near suitable electrical power.
- Before releasing the machine for production, ensure all guards, covers, and safety devices are installed or set up to meet local safety codes.
- If the machine has a hydraulic oil system, be sure it is filled to a suitable level with clean oil.
- Confirm the emergency STOP buttons are working properly.
- If the machine is hydraulic confirm the pump and motor rotation is correct.
- Perform all necessary tooling adjustments before running a cycle.
- To prevent unauthorized use of the machine, switch the disconnect to the off position and lockout/tagout according to best practices.
